Amber Glass Bottle -- Colored Pencil

This is another I did for practice to learn more about colored pencils. Since capturing glass in a painting has always been an interest of mine, it was fun to be able to combine both learning more about colored pencil and painting glass. This illustration comes from an art book.

  12. Beautiful! I love the colors! To catch the transparency of glass is difficult using a transparent medium like watercolor; but you've done it with an opaque medium, and did it very well!!

  20. OMG this rocks. (by the way, I clicked on your link from ART) I took my first coloured pencil class and bought several books. Although I love to colour on my greeting cards, I want to learn to colour the way you did here. What you accomplished is amazing.
